After 4 years of planning the long awaited Bike Park Epicentre Completion Project has started!  Heavy equipment was on site today relocating the storage, and grading the site in preparation for the changes.  Look for a larger relocated pump track (designed by local riders Dustin Dobson and Simon Quinn Sears) as well as some DJ modifications.  There will be an improved entry point with better informational signage and maps, a bike wash station (it never rains in White Rock?), bleachers for DJ spectators, a covered picnic area, and increased storage for trail day materials and equipment. In addition, Metro Vancouiver has OK'd the development of a huge new skills area near the Water Tower. We are looking for help building the skills area and any sponsorship will be recognized on the new Sponsor Board that will be featured on site.  SORCE has already set aside $5000 to contribute to this worthwhile public project.
