Thanks to our BC cup status, the 5th annual Junkyard Dog XC attracted a huge contingent of top BC athletes and sold out before race day despite less than stellar weather forecasts.  Winner in the Elite categories were Ryan Taylor and Dawn Berg and SORCE members Sheldon  Orr, Dave Richardson and Spencer Bass all hit the podium.

Despite the early rain the race when off without a hitch. Thanks to all the awesome volunteers who made it all happen and to all the racers who made it worth watching. Also thanks to the City crews who put in a ton of work to get the park epicentre all polished up for the event. And of course thanks to our generous sponsors, epecially JYD Gold Sponsor Rocky Cycle who kicked in $500 cash and a ton of sweet swag.
