| Last weekends Gearjammer XC race in Squamish was the last installment in the 2007 Hell of a Series. The Jammer represented the most technical of this Triple Crown event, covering 47km of Squamish’s grueling trail work. It was a relentless day of technical, energy draining climbs, immediately followed by white knuckle descents, and with no recovery time in between. To give you a perspective on the difficulty, the completion times for most racers was not much better than their Test of Metal times on a course that was 20 km shorter.Team SORCE rider Sheldon Orr, podium finished in 2nd place with a blistering time of 2 hours & 55 minutes - a time approaching elite/professional level! The Hell of a Series awards were also announced, and both Sheldon and Frank Ammirati achieved 3rd place overall awards in their respective categories - capping off another great Team SORCE marathon race season.
