The Surrey Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts Society (SORCE) was formed in 2000 and incorporated as a not for profit society in March 2001.

 We offer a variety of events and activities for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Whether your pleasure is winding singletrack, split log ramps, wheelie drops, trials, or dirt jumps, SORCE can bring you the goods. Our insured club is an incorporated non profit society and is IMBA and Cycling BC Affiliated. Our focus is riding, but our community activities include mountain bike advocacy, promotion of responsible cycling, as well as the redevelopment and maintenance of the Bike Park adjacent to the South Surrey Athletic Park.

Over six months of meetings culminated in the current approved plan for expansion of the existing bike park facility. The challenge in creating this plan has been in reconciling the environmental values of the adjacent Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest and the needs of the growing cycling community.

We are now into the last of of three phases of construction, working in cooperation with the City of Surrey's Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture. At the end of each construction phase, some redundant trail will be reforested. That's right, NO trail closures until new trail is built. Please respect the necessary closures and there is absolutely no room for shortcuts or renegade trail building.
